The purpose of the system is to stack stationary battery elements into cells automatically.
This system is equipped with two ABB robots. The two robots stack battery plates on a travel plate alternating plates (positive and negative) and separator material. The stack then leaves on a roller conveyor. This system is equipped with integrated machine vision system which allows the robot to determine if there really is a plate on the rack and it allows the robot to make calculated adjustments to the plate stacking positions dynamically.
